This morning, the Guyana Police Force informed the public that Attorney-at-Law Ryan Crawford has been charged with the following offenses:
1. PROHIBITION OF TINTED GLASS,
2. FAILURE TO PRODUCE DRIVER’S LICENCE,
3. DRIVING AN UNFIT MOTOR VEHICLE,
4. USE OF OBSCENE LANGUAGE AND
5. RIOTOUS BEHAVIOUR.
The attorney will make his appearance at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court, tomorrow. Crawford had made headlines last week when a recording of him angrily responding to a police officer during a traffic stop went viral. The Attorney later went to Facebook to claim that the officer had no right to stop him due to a lack of “reasonable suspicion or probable cause.” He later apologized for his word saying he was frustrated with the conduct of the police officer.
