Granger: There Was Talk Of A Settlement

A new salary offer extended to the teachers’ Union would see teachers being paid a 10 per cent retroactive salary increases, from 2016. That would incrementally increase by 8 per cent for 2017 and 2018, respectively.
Additionally, a $350M was offered for debunching, for the period 2011 – 2018.

The Union had promised to base their acceptance or rejection of the government’s offer on the response of the teachers. The news is breaking that the GTU has made known its intention to reject the newest offer following the non-acceptance by its members.
