On Tuesday, Former President Bharat Jagdeo showed up at Special Organized Crime Unit (SOCU) headquarters to answer charges of matters concerning his involvement in the Pradoville 2/Sparandam land issue. The government is charging that Jagdeo and his close friends defrauded the country by gifting themselves lands that were grossly undersold.
Jagdeo said during his visit, he made the Head of SOCU Sydney James, commit to also questioning the current administration, for the matter in which Minister David Patterson is alleged to have had an illegal bid approved by the cabinet.
