Several month disputes between neighbours over the blockage of a reserve and leaking waste oil may soon be settled in court. Ronald Geetram, a Canadian remigrant who resides at Sarah Johanna, EBD is accusing his neighbour, Richard Jaisingh who is the owner of a trucking service of flouting environmental regulations.

Thick dark residue can be seen at the bottom of the drain. Whilst this issue was reported to the relevant authorities, Geetram believes that all of his complaints fall on deaf ears.

Headline news spoke the neighbour Jaisingh who gave a different version of events. The businessman, who opted not to appear on camera noted that the correct drainage for the land was blocked by Geetram.

Whilst Jaisingh denies Geetram’s claim, the remigrant plans to continue to pursue the matter until he receives justice.
