In response to the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Ministry of Education took the decision to close the nation’s public schools. Many private schools immediately followed suit. Including Success Elementary School which has been closed for close to a month. But to date, over 60 staff members of the school have yet to receive their salaries. Several teachers reached out to Headline news to air their frustrations. Fearing retaliation, the teachers have asked to have their identities concealed. According to the teachers, numerous calls were made to their school’s principal regarding their salaries but all calls went unanswered.
